Dr. Inna Levy
I am an applied criminologist and a lecturer at the Department of Criminology, Ariel University, and the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, Zefat Academic College in Israel.
My research interests focus on attitudes toward crimes and victims, the impact of trauma (including mass trauma, e.g., terrorism, COVID-19), and issues in Green Criminology and Cultural Criminology.
The current projects explore the concept of Viruism and the effects of COVID-19 on psychological well-being, cultural differences in attitudes toward food fraud and green harms, and the ways in which different media outlets construct and reconstruct rape and other types of crimes.
